Through this chapter, David reveals important aspects of his relationship with God and his relationship with his entourage. The first verse reveals an essential principle of a victorious Christian life.
1 of David. Judge me, O Lord! Because I walk in integrity, ( because life I lead is beyond reproach .)
What integrity?
¨ state of a person an absolute probity. Probity (¨ Observation strict moral principles, scrupulous honesty. His integrity is no doubt.)
David had resolved not to allow any compromise during his visit to preserve that land quality in the heart of his being.
He paid a very expensive price to have lowered its guard vis-à-vis the attractions of a temptation, prepared by the adversary.
If the grace of God, did not remain effective during this period, the story of his life was short! He
understood, within an intimate relationship with God, pure consciousness acts as a precious friend: It can reveal the subtle traps of the enemy.
Integrity has a mandate to deepen our dependence on our Redeemer.
more we allow our Lord to intervene in our lives, the more we are invited to draw our strength in the power of our God.
I trust in the Lord (I not let it) I shall not .
This verse invites us to grow in us a thirst for a Christian walk to integrate that by the grace of the Lord of hosts is still strong against the storms that we have to cross over our existence.
Prayer:
" Lord God, I want to live an intimate relationship with you, without compromise with the world. Help me to maintain integrity in my commitment to serve you! It is in the name of thy Son Jesus I ask this intervention in my life. "
great week in His wonderful presence!
