Where Should My Cervix Be A Week Before Period

PSALM 27

King David ( canvas Eugene Ristau)

of David.
The Lord is my light and my hello: of whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life: who should I fear? 2 When evildoers came against me to make me their prey, they, my enemies and my foes, who stumble and fall.
3 If an army takes a stand against me, my heart feels no fear. If a war rises against me, I am nevertheless confident. 4
I ask the Lord something that I seek: I'd like to live my life in the house of the Lord, to behold the beauty of the LORD and to inquire in his temple, 5 because it will protect me in His tabernacle, the day of trouble he will hide me under the shelter of his tent, He set me up upon a rock. 6
Already my head stands above the enemies who surround me. I will offer sacrifices in his tent with shouts of joy, I sing, I praise the Lord. 7
Lord, hear my voice, because I am appealing to you, have pity on me and answer me! 8 My heart says of you: "Seek my face" I'm looking for you, O Lord!
9 Do not hide your face, do not reject your servant in anger! You are my help: do not leave me, do not forsake me, O God of my salvation! 10 Even if my father and my mother forsake me come to the Lord will receive me.
11 Lord, teach me your way, take me in path of righteousness, because of my enemies.
12 Do not deliver me to thank you for my opponents as false witnesses to attack me, men who breathe nothing but violence.
13 Oh! if I was not sure I see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living ... 14 Wait on the LORD! Be strong and let your heart take courage! Wait for the Lord!

Dear brothers and sisters, dear friends
,

Are you among those who feel closest to God in a particular context? Some feel more fellowship with our Father God in a magnificent cathedral, where a solemn liturgy unfolds. As for me, I am rather of those who are more comfortable and feel closer to their God in thickets and clearings. All this is very personal course, and also very subjective. Nevertheless I think we all seek God's presence, we all want to be closer to him. It

I think the theme that runs through this Psalm written by David. We do not connaisons the exact circumstances of this writing. Some think that David would then face a serious crisis in his life. Others believe that the King of Israel presents here rather a kind of summary of his own spiritual experience. Whatever actually because what this psalm gives us is a picture of a believer seeking his God and trusting in him in all the circumstances of his life.

Psalm 27 is very close to the beginning of Psalm 23 where David says, "The Lord is my shepherd" to immediately add: "I shall not want." In Psalm 27, it has a similar construction: "The Lord is my light and my salvation" followed by "Of whom shall I fear? . In fact, the first three verses of Psalm 27 show an almost indecent faith strength and assurance: David is not afraid of his enemies, David's not afraid of an army that threatens, David N has no fear of being immersed in the fighting of a war! Everything seems a little too perfect is not it? A little too good to be true probably ...

Yet the question arises: Is not this the reality that God asks us to live? And I think that reality is based on a small word that you might not notice: "my". David does not say "The Lord is light," but "the Lord is my light." Faith is not David something purely intellectual and distant, but a living reality and personal. We love to recite the Creed ("I believe in God ...") in our liturgy. But knowing good doctrine and allow light to our life are two different things.
The sun shines for everyone. But if I choose to live in a house with closed shutters, I will not see the sun even when it is at its zenith. Similarly, I believe in God or I do croiepas, God is light. But if I want to enjoy the sun, should I approach.
We can tackle the great biblical doctrines in the same way:
God is love. That's true. That filled pages and pages of theology. But only the assurance that God loves me I can fill my life.
God is omnipotent. Indeed splendid, but who will take its full meaning when I recognize that God Almighty will guide me and protect me on the paths of life.

God is the light of David, it's hello. That is why David could say I'm not afraid of anyone. It is possible, before such a declaration, to show a certain irony. David would not he one of those people totally immersed in clouds of spirituality and who are not on even ground? No, definitely not. David had received the harsh education of a small farmer. He became a warrior, accustomed to the harsh fighting. He was called up on the throne of Israel, responsible to guide and protect all people. No, David was not a dreamer: the life do not allow him!

That's a man, a true, deep in the tumult of life that speaks and asks, "one thing I seek: I'd like to live my life in the house of the LORD, to contemplate beauty of the LORD and to inquire in his temple, 5 because it will protect me in his tabernacle, the day of trouble he will hide me under the shelter of his tent, he set me up upon a rock. "One thing

. Not a lot of things, not three, not two. A single thing. The deepest desire of David's experience of communion with his God, being in his presence, walk with him. That's the thing he seeks.
Yet! If one accepts that this psalm was written during one of the darkest periods of David's life (perhaps the revolt of his son Absalom, when deprived of the throne, he had to leave Jerusalem and lead a guerrilla ), one would have expected him to demand something else or in any case, things and more. But David does not seek one thing: to be with his God. Is it also our desire, when life shakes us? Is that really the only thing we crave is to stay ready all the Lord? Adopt this attitude demand probably a genuine effort to extricate themselves from our fears, not to have more eyes on our needs, even legitimate.
"Seek ye first the kingdom of God and all things will be more," said Jesus. It is an exhortation: "Seek first the kingdom of God." Put your relationship with God above all else, put there first. Do not accept anything that he could remove that rule.
is also a promise: "All things will be more." Your Father knows what you need better than you. Like David, put your trust in him to take care of you, it protects you and those you love.

It should not however believe that Psalm 27 shows us a perfect view of the believer's life. This is not a bed of roses. It is in this psalm a second part, beginning in verse 7: "Lord, hear my voice, because I am appealing to you, have pity on me and answer me! .

This sentence reflects a struggle, hard, bitter. This is not a fight against armed enemies, no: it is the fight of David against himself. In society rather silly pacifist where we live, the concept of combat is devalued. However, Paul invites us to take the lead "the good fight of faith" and he describes in Ephesians on the whole armor of the Christian ...
This fight of faith, those dark hours of the soul, the greatest believers have experienced. The greatest servants of God have gone through the crucible of combat is sometimes hard doute.Le to keep the absolute trust in God that we love.

David has staked everything on God, he should not find it confusing. His prayer is therefore appealing for help. But what is striking is that God speaks to his servant. "My heart says of you:" Seek my face '. "
It is God who takes the initiative to help David. Never forget that it was he who loved us first, and not vice versa!
Seek my face, "said God. The face is what represents the very being of a person. And we Christians, believers of the New Covenant, I believe that we enjoy in this respect a great privilege compared to David. We can contemplate the face of God in Christ. In Jesus, God has shown us a complete and not partial as was the case in the Old Testament. In Jesus Christ we can be assured of God's love and grace for us. So take courage, our faith rests on a solid and proven. We can contemplate the Lord's goodness while watching his beloved Son.

With new confidence, David asks something again: Lord, teach me thy way, lead me in the paths of righteousness.
David wants to learn what is the path where God wants him to justice works. He wants help, but he also wants a guide.
Too often we try to borrow our own ways. Too often, we deviate from the straight path that God has marked out for his people! The "path of righteousness," this implies that other pathways, they are very crooked! So, my brothers, as David asked to be kept and move forward on the right path, away from the errors, heresies, compromises. To do this, consult regular map to Heaven is the Holy Bible. This is where we hear the truth from the mouth of God and the lies that the world is silent.

The end of this Psalm is a bit like the grand finale of fireworks. David has never sought to embellish what is happening to himself, but he will emerge victorious thanks to the Lord. And this prayer, she hustles after three thousand years!
Oh! if I was not sure I see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living ...

With everything that David said to God (its light, hello) with what he has to say now in its fight to keep the confidence, it to himself now that David speaks, as if to reason, to reassure, to take charge too.
Hope in the Lord! Be strong and let your heart take courage! Wait for the Lord!

other words: I said everything to God. I expressed my confidence joyful, and I told him the tragic situation in which I am, I did not tell her my hidden inner struggles. Now the time has come to defer to him and continue my journey peacefully under the eyes of God.

David had the grace to find peace and true joy. Three thousand years later, God still wants us to live joy and peace. And, for us and for David the path remains the same: to sit on our God, tell him 'thank you and amen "and fight the battle of faith with the strength he gives us.
And the heart of each of us can say, from God: "Wait on the LORD! Be strong and let your heart take courage! Wait for the Lord! "

Amen!
