is the question I heard most today. Obviously it was not me it was addressed. :)
So today was the big piece of my stay in New York I visited most of the most emblematic places of the city.
I first went to the Empire State Building. Lonely Planet has announced a very long wait, which turned out to be zero. It was not very nice but it does keep me from an hour to the observatory. A $ 20 ticket, it is better to take as long as possible, no.
Then I made a small break at Starbucks for breakfast too. I got a caramel macchiato and a blueberry muffin strudel. And it was good, at least it had taste! Finally, I will not go to NY being starved ...
A little later in the morning, I walked into the Midtow East, past the Rockefeller Center, Grand Central Terminal, Chrysler Building and the United Nations. I do not quote the rest (under construction). It was not so beautiful but the mercury has dropped and I'm almost sick, I take this opportunity once more and better.
For lunch, I went to the corner of 14th and 6th to eat a bagel. I took a Special murray club, something like that (actually, I'm too small to read the menu hanging on the wall and took the first thing that my myopia has allowed me to read). The bagel had drunk with his 7 inches thick! It was not just the tomato, which wanted to make bread with sesame seeds but also turkey, bacon and salad leaves.
Then I walked to the Flat Iron, which is really flat! I understand better why some were dubtatifs about its solidity. I rested at Madison Square before returning to Union Square where Jews Correena and I-don't-know-not-who shared the main stage ...
I did some laps at various stores (clothes, souvenirs, decoration). Sometimes giving in to temptation, I've resisted a lot. How to take the gold skulls serving as piggy banks, other mini-fluorescent human skulls, fake eyes, soft rubber, a mini pink baseball bat ...
I also have many pictures that I will not have time to load them all tonight, or add them to the article. Too bad, I'll do it tomorrow morning! ;)
